Cycling and pedestrian trails<\/h1>\n

There are numerous bicycle paths and roads on which you can explore the small villages of this municipality on foot and discover why wealthier people from noble families once upon a time in history chose this very area as the place to build their country estates.<\/p>\n

THE TRAIL OF PONDS AND JUG (861)\u00a0<\/strong> <\/a>connects the rich Istrian wine scene and picturesque vineyards, several ponds (kali\u0107i - puddles) important for the preservation of freshwater habitats and their flora and fauna, and traditional Istrian cuisine.<\/p>\n

PJE\u0160A\u010cKA STAZA BOKSITNA PRUGA (862)<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>pje\u0161a\u010dka staza prati potez nekada\u0161nje boksitne pruge koja se koristila u rudarsko doba na Labin\u0161tini. Potez pruge i danas je jako atraktivan krajobrazno. Na ovom podru\u010dju danas se smjestila Farma Drijade, koja nudi poseban do\u017eivljaj i susret s raznim \u017eivotinjama. za posjet farmi potrebna je prethodna najava.<\/p>\n

Na ovoj stazi \u017eivotinje se slobodno kre\u0107u, a \u010duvaju ih radni psi. Posjetitelji hodaju na vlastitu odgovornost i molimo vas da po\u0161tujete sigurnost \u017eivotinja. Svi psi moraju biti obavezani na povodniku.<\/p>\n

PJE\u0160A\u010cKA STAZA \u0160UMBERSKE DINE (863) <\/a><\/strong>–\u00a0U srcu op\u0107ine Sveta Nedelja, nalazi se jedinstvena pje\u0161a\u010dka staza koja prolazi kroz fascinantno podru\u010dje laporskih dina. Ova ruta nudi jedinstveno iskustvo u kojem se priroda i povijest stapaju, pru\u017eaju\u0107i ljubiteljima prirode priliku za istra\u017eivanje rijetkih geolo\u0161kih pojava i u\u017eivanje u netaknutom krajoliku.<\/p>\n

Pje\u0161a\u010dka staza, duga 7,3 km, a povezuje prirodne fenomene,\u00a0 lokalne OPG-ove i netaknutu prirodu.<\/p>\n

Enjoy cycling through untouched nature, picturesque vineyards and unique pools (puddles). In the area of Sveta Nedelja, you can explore 3 bike paths that combine natural and cultural heritage, and a rich local food and wine offer:<\/p>\n

ROUTE: Nede\u0161\u0107ina \u2013 Jurazini \u2013 Er\u017ei\u0161\u0107e \u2013 Bla\u0161kovi\u0107i \u2013 Radovi\u0107i \u2013 \u0160umber \u2013 Gra\u0161i\u0107i \u2013 Nede\u0161\u0107ina<\/em><\/p>\n

The bicycle route Trail of Ponds and Nobility starts in the centre of Nede\u0161\u0107ina. The settlement is dominated by the Church of the Holy Trinity, whose corner is mentioned in the historical document \"Istarski razvod\" as the border of three communes: \u0160umber, Labin and Plomin. The trail leads in the direction of the hamlets of Jurazini and Er\u017ei\u0161\u0107e, where there are several puddles. Kali\u0107 Du\u017eica, \u010ciper puddle, Marguda puddle and Rupica spring are just some of the rare preserved examples of freshwater habitats. The importance of preserving puddles and their rich flora and fauna is part of the local culture of the Istrian region.<\/p>\n

ROUTE: Nede\u0161\u0107ina \u2013\u0160trmac \u2013 Vine\u017e \u2013 Toma\u017ei\u0107i \u2013 Cere \u2013 Santalezi \u2013 Nede\u0161\u0107ina<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>The route starts from Nede\u0161\u0107ina, the central settlement of the municipality of Sv. Nedelja, whose central position is occupied by the Church of the Holy Trinity from 1897, and where the former Benedictine abbey of St. Trinity was located.<\/p>\n

You are heading in the direction of the \u0160trmac settlement, built at the end of the 19th century next to a former mining shaft. The most significant mining revolt in Istria, also known as the 'Labin Republic'<\/em>, left indelible traces in the Labin region. The miners' struggle, aimed at seeking their labour rights, improving their position and working and living conditions, led to the establishment of the Labin Republic, which lasted from March 2 to April 8, 1921. On this cycling route, you will also visit the centre of Vine\u017e, place where the miners' strike began.<\/p>\n

There are numerous paths and roads that can be used to explore the villages and hamlets of this part of the municipality by bike and to discover why wealthier people from noble families once upon a time chose this very area as the place to build their country estates. The area of this part of Istria, also known as\u00a0as Terra Rossa (red soil),<\/em>\u00a0is covered with vineyards, whose vines produce top quality wines. Numerous winemakers have recognized the importance of breeding old vines and preserving the traditional Istrian drop. Do you need another reason to explore the surroundings of Sveti Martin on two wheels?<\/p>\n

Trail ISTRIAN DEMARCATION<\/strong> <\/a>(55 km) is dedicated to one of the most important Croatian medieval documents found in neighbouring Kr\u0161an, the trail LIBURNIA<\/a> <\/strong>(71 km) will introduce you to Labin's rich history of mining, and the TERAN<\/strong> <\/a>(46 km) trail, which is named in honour of the famous Istrian wine, will take you for a ride along the Wine Road.<\/p>\n

Trail 410 ANCIENT TOWNS OF EASTERN ISTRIA <\/a><\/strong>(89 km) connects the rural areas of Labin, which reveal a true wealth of history, tradition and interesting old-town centres.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div>
