U subotu 29.3. besplatna tura Šumberskim dinama

Turistička zajednica Općine Sveta Nedelja poziva sve ljubitelje prirode na besplatnu vođenu turu pješačkom stazom šumberske dine koja će se održati u subotu, 29. ožujka 2025. godine.

Start ture je u 10:00 sati, na lokaciji Šumber (kod agroturizma Giovanna) https://maps.app.goo.gl/MEiuCrs9N9xSS3vB7

Za sve šetače osigurana je besplatna okrjepa na kraju pješačenja u agroturizmu Giovanna.

O STAZI ŠUMBERSKE DINE

Ova jedinstvena pješačka staza, smještena u srcu općine Sveta Nedelja, vodi kroz fascinantno područje laporskih dina. Ovdje će sudionici imati priliku istražiti rijetke geološke pojave, uživati u netaknutom krajoliku i osjetiti sklad prirode i povijesti.

Laporske dine, oblikovane specifičnom sedimentnom stijenom laporom, pružaju jedinstveno iskustvo, jer se razlikuju od uobičajenih pješčanih dina. Ove dine su čvrste, stabilne i dolaze u apstraktnim oblicima, a čine jedan od najposebnijih prirodnih fenomena u ovom području.

Tura uključuje i posjet dvije sakralne građevine: crkvi sv. Kvirina iz XVI. stoljeća te crkvi Bl. Djevice Marije od Drena, koja je povezana s velikim lokalnim blagdanom Petangošt.

Staza je pogodna za planinare, rekreativce i obitelji koje traže lagan izlet u prirodu, a šetnja nudi priliku za uživanje u prekrasnim vizurama, šumskim predjelima, te bogatoj flori i fauni.

FREE GUIDED TOUR ŠUMBERSKE DINE

The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Sveta Nedelja invites all nature lovers to join the free guided tour along the Šumberske Dine (Dunes) hiking trail, which will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The tour will start at 10:00 AM at the location of Šumber (near the Giovanna agrotourism) https://maps.app.goo.gl/MEiuCrs9N9xSS3vB7
Pre-registration is required due to limited participant numbers via the registration LINK.
Free refreshments will be provided at the end of the hike at the Giovanna agrotourism.

ABOUT THE HIKING TRAIL ŠUMBRSKE DINE

This unique hiking trail, located in the heart of the Municipality of Sveta Nedelja, leads through the fascinating area of the Lapora dunes. Participants will have the opportunity to explore rare geological phenomena, enjoy the untouched landscape, and experience the harmony of nature and history.
The dunes, shaped by the specific sedimentary stone called “lapor,” offer a unique experience, as they differ from the usual sand dunes. These dunes are solid, stable, and form in abstract shapes, making them one of the most distinctive natural phenomena in this area.

The tour also includes visits to two sacred buildings: the Church of St. Quirinus from the 16th century and the Church of the Blessed Virgin Marija od Drena, which is associated with the major local holiday of Petangošt.

The trail is suitable for hikers, recreationalists, and families looking for an easy nature excursion, offering the chance to enjoy beautiful vistas, forested areas, and a rich variety of flora and fauna.
